Welcome to the Killeen Area Growers Association’s Green Avenue Farmers Market. Located downtown across from the Killeen Arts and Activities Center, we are a growers and producers market consisting of members that grow and sell their produce or products and are from Bell County and its surrounding counties. Visiting the markets gives you the opportunity to meet the farmer who grows your food.
The Killeen Area Growers Association has been growing and supplying our customers with fresh produce and edible plants since 1996.
We are a certified farmers market through the Texas Department of Agriculture and a member of Texas Certified Farmers Market, Inc.
The market is actively seeking and currently accepting applications from farm/ranch vendors and hand-crafted artisan vendors. Vendors may pick up an application in person during market hours of operation or download it here.
It will be up to the discretion of the board members to determine if an applicant is eligible to be a member. You will need to abide by the By-Laws and Regulations of the organization. You will also need to complete a Killeen Area Growers Association, Inc. (KAGA) Vendor Application and supply the organization with a copy with any applicable permits you have obtained that are required by the Health Department, such as an egg or food vendor permit or license. There is a $25 annual membership fee that will be collected if you are accepted.
If you are accepted as member, then it is up to you to follow the rules and guidelines of the KAGA. At the end of the market hours, the market manager will collect a nominal stall fee from you based upon your sales of the day, and you will be expected to clean your area after booth take-down.
